About Me

My Work
I graduated from Goldsmiths College, University of London in the summer of 2008 with a first-class honours in BA Design for my project Experience Value: Risks & Exposures. Since then I have worked with/for a number of companies and shown work in several exhibitons (more details of which can be found in the projects section of this website).
A lot of my work has stemmed from my continued interest and exploration of risk, risk consumption, comfort zones and experience. I also get very excited about communication and communication design - I like designing and consuming anything that transfers a message, concept, feeling or sensation - films, graphics and tools. In other words: cultural artefacts.
I feel strongly that if a thorough and critically designed journey, event or process can deliver a humanistic wealth greater than a mere object, or better solve a problem, then they should be appropriated accordingly. We, as designers, should remember to work in a way that is human-centric, not product-centric.
Anything Else?
Before moving to London I was born and raised in The Midlands, which occupies a strange limbo between The North and The South. This has imbued me with a mix of self-importance and flat vowels.
I also keep a blog, a flickr account and I use twitter.
